Kevin Henshaw: “Steffen picked me up at the airport. As soon as we got in the car he told me we got 3000 kilometers or more to drive. We went straight to Cergy. That park is insane they got like nine UNIT Rails including Steffen’s and my Signature Rail. Then we drove all the way to Germany to a park called Norderstedt. They got my Signature Rail as well as a couple of other UNIT features. Next we went to The Bricks in Duisburg and now we are kickin’ it in Moncontour/France.”

This year, the Fise renews the Live Webcast in partnership with Dailymotion.
5 days of continuous live starting on Wednesday May 16 at 5:00 PM. Controlling the live broadcast, the one and only Miguel Martinez backed by more than 10 consultants to share the event with you from inside. Experience this year’s competition live and share the riders’ thrill as the competitions results will be instantly brought to you by live scoring.
Hervé André Benoit, event organizer : The success of last year’s Live Webcast has encouraged us to deploy more means for the 2012 edition. We adapted the sports program to fit with the web broadcast. You will be able to watch some finals from Thursday afternoon. We also redesigned the entire set and developed Live scoring.

Lipsmack Premier

May 12th, 2012 – Orlando, FL – On Saturday night Slingshot took Orlando by storm with the premier of their highly anticipated team video “Lipsmack.” The movie premiered at the Plaza Live following the Wake the Line qualifier event at OWC earlier in the day. It was a packed house as pro riders, industry big wigs, friends, family and more came out to support the video and get the first look at what team Slingshot has been up to for the past year +. From TX to Canada to Germany and more, the team covers all the bases in the film which opens up with a banger of a crash section on some of the craziest rail set ups to date, setting the tone for an in your face action packed flick that moves quick. Highlights include countless original rail set-ups such as the hump rails, hanging ball taps, step ups to step downs and double inclines, and that’s just the beginning. There’s also a killer style based wake riding section and then a technical based section later in the film in which Oli Derome steps up big. One of the most refreshing aspects of the movie is the comedy in between sections like Dylan Miller’s nude cone dance, McKee’s Ferarri cruise, and the one and only “Big Spence” taking it to the snow bare chested.
Following the movie we were surprised with a live performance from Secret Music (www.secretmusicband.com), a Brooklyn based band signed to Black Bell Records and currently wrapping up a nationwide tour. The band is featured in the 4th Lipsmack teaser on iTunes where the full film will be available for download May 15th. Hard copies of the DVD will be in pro shops shortly following.
