INTERNATIONAL WAKEBOARD CELEBRITIES COMPETE FOR CHAMPIONSHIP AT 4TH ANNUAL WEST SIDE JAM EVENT IN SINGAPORE
SINGAPORE, February 12, 2011: Maxout Hydrosports will be hosting its 4th annual triple wake competition in Singapore from 11 to 13 March 2011.
West Side JamTM 2011 will showcase the best wakeboarders from the United States, UK, Australia, Italy, Philippines, Thailand, Korea, Japan and Singapore battling it out for the crown and bragging rights in the Open Wakeboard as well as Open Wakeskate categories. Additionally, local wakeboard and wakeskate competitors will compete in the Freeride Wake divisions.
Highlights of this year’s foreign competitors include 13-year-old international wakeboard phenomenon Daniel Grant, wakeskate legends Aaron Reed and Danny Hampson from the United States, as well as Asian wakeboard heavyweights Tatsanai Kuakoonrat and Padiwat Jaemjan from Thailand.

The weekend-long competition and festival will take place at the Raffles Marina. The marina’s super yacht dock will be transformed into a waterfront arena where festival-spectators and wakeboard enthusiasts alike will be entertained by the competition and premier participants showing off their skill on the water, and also by festival highlights such as a swimwear show, wakesurf demos featuring a special four-legged ‘surf’ team, jet ski and banana boat rides, as well as a memorable sunset party with music by Pushin’On DJs Shellsuit & Chunk and The Bamrah Brothers.

Qualifying rounds will be held on 12 March 2011 and the finals on 13 March 2011 where over S$8000 in cash and prizes will be won.
