James Young secures future with Protest

James Young has long been one of the biggest players in the World Wide Cable Wakeboard scene. Seeing his most successful back to back seasons through 2009 and 2010, with joint 2nd on the WWA Wake Park World Series in ’09 and a 3rd place at the WWA Worlds in ’10. Protest, who continually support the action sports world through a host of world class athletes and major events have recognised what James can bring to the team and are looking forward to developing a long lasting tight relationship with the Brit. Barbara van Bergen, Protest Team Manager has been pivotal in the placement of the brand in wakeboarding and she has engineered yet another great addition to their line up of athletes. “we are very proud to have James on our international wake team. It tells a lot that one of the best riders in the world chooses to join our brand and we are honored to have him with us.”

James is looking forward to being part of one of the most proactive teams out there. “Protest has always been one of those brands that really looks after it’s team. Great riders like Sjors, Maxine and many more make it a real privilege to be onboard. I’m looking forward to my 2011 season and working hard for Protest and my other sponsors to keep on improving and pushing myself as hard as I can.

For the Summer 2011 photoshoot the Protest Wakeboarders took off to TNG Cable Park at L’isle Jourdain.
Starring: Sjors v/d Kerkhof, Maxine Sapulette, Chloe Goudie, Ricky Lukassen, Michael Timmers and Elke Venken.
